Hi, first time poster here.
I have setup Trados 2015 to basically work how I need it to, however I think with my current settings, I am no longer able to have more than one translation unit associated with a single source unit.
I noticed this happening after I selected "Overwrite PerfectMatch translations" (a Pre-Translate Files option), which I also need because I work with manuals that are regularly updated and the content can overlap quite a fair bit among all of the manuals I work on. Failure to have this ON means that my old PM translations are not updated with content that may have been changed in a separate manual.
I also sometimes want to have multiple translations for the same source unit, so I will type in a new translation unit but Trados does not seem to want to save it as a new translation unit and simply overwrite the TM. Does anyone have any experience with this or have a work around they could offer me? Thank you in advance.
P.s. I always update my TM with "Merge translation units" selected.
