...reduce the cost, at what price?? May 29, 2017

So anybody with half a mind can say"" If you double your price and leave it all up to me, guess how much money you'll save, if you don't have to worry about the quality and dealing with new and fresh translators /agencies over and over again...

This explains a lot, or at least it would, if I understood the speaker's use of English - different geographies! Why not say different countries -or is he distinguishing translators, who live in the hills and those on the plains? Or those who live inland and those on the coast? And he is going to judge the quality of translations!

He obviously does not know anything and does not want to know anything about what is involved in translating. Unfortunately he has power, which we freelancers are powerless to combat. Here is a prime example of why we cannot charge the rates our work is really worth.

I recently got key payments from clinical trial translation jobs. I absorb latest technology about drug researches as well as translation tools. I also expect that MT and other latest methods will deploy translations in this domain very effectively i.e. more jobs, less expenses but more productivity.
