Business procedure description
This is the method in SAP of creating and amending products (materials). All mandatory master data details are created or amended here, including descriptions, uoms, barcodes, prices, etc. Some of the base data will be automatically transferred from PDM, but other fields need completing in SAP and this information will be available on the Product Form. There is no change to the business procedure other than an updated product form reflecting SAP terminology.
The screens display more fields than those used by Plesta UK. These fields will not be described and must be kept blank or filled in with the default value from SAP as instructed.
Navigation path and prerequisites
The MM01 (create), MM02 (change) and MM03 (display) transactions allow you to manage the Material Master Data (products and assortments).
All products will be set up in PDM and interfaced into SAP. No materials will be created directly in SAP. Please see the PDM manual for operational details.
Material Master Data is managed by the Merchandising Department but there are a few fields that are managed by the Inventory Control department.
General Information
Material types
The SAP system manages a series of material categories:
a. Non Trade and Service Materials
These products are used for internal usage, brochures, flyers, catalogues and giveaways. Plesta does not market these goods but can deliver them to the customer.
b. Trade Materials NON MDM coded
These are trade products, for which the SAP material number is not a European 7-digit material number. This will not be used in the UK.
c. Trade materials MDM coded
These are trade products, which have a 7-digit material number in SAP (the number is given by PDM). This is the main type the UK will use.
d. Customer Owned
These are products delivered to customers such as Extended Warehouse Service. These products are the property of the customer and are only distributed by Business Express.

Beschrijving van de bedrijfsprocedure
Dit is de methode waarmee in SAP producten (materialen) worden gecreëerd en gewijzigd. Hier wordt alle vereiste informatie van de stamgegevens gecreëerd of gewijzigd, inclusief beschrijvingen, maateenheden, streepjescodes, prijzen, enz. Sommige van deze basisgegevens zullen automatisch worden overgebracht vanuit PDM, maar andere velden zullen in SAP moeten worden gecompleteerd. Deze informatie is beschikbaar op het productformulier. Het enige verschil met de oude bedrijfsprocedure is een bijgewerkt productformulier met de juiste SAP-terminologie.
Het venster geeft meer velden weer dan er worden gebruikt door Plesta UK. Deze velden zullen niet worden beschreven en dienen ofwel leeg gelaten te worden, of te worden ingevuld met de voorgeschreven standaardwaarde van SAP.

Met de transacties MM01 (creëren), MM02 (wijzigen) en MM03 (weergeven) kunt u de artikelstamgegevens (producten en assortimenten) beheren.
Alle producten worden geconfigureerd in PDM en geinterfaced naar SAP. Er zullen geen materialen rechtstreeks in SAP worden gecreëerd. Raadpleeg het PDM-handboek voor informatie over dit proces.
De artikelstamgegevens worden beheerd door de afdeling Merchandising, maar er zijn ook enkele velden die worden beheerd door de afdeling Inventarisbeheer.
Algemene Informatie
Materiaalsoorten
Het SAP-systeem beheert verschillende materiaalcategorieën:
a. Niet voor de handel bestemde materialen en servicematerialen
Dit zijn producten voor intern gebruik en materiaal zoals brochures, flyers, catalogi en relatiegeschenken. Plesta verkoopt deze goederen niet, maar kan ze wel bij de klant bezorgen.
b. Handelsmaterialen ZONDER MDM-code
Dit zijn handelsmaterialen waarvan het SAP-materiaalnummer geen zevencijferig Europees materiaalnummer is. Dit zal niet worden gebruikt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
c. Handelsmaterialen met een MDM-code
Dit zijn handelsmaterialen die in SAP een zevencijferig materiaalnummer hebben (het nummer wordt door PDM gegeven). Dit is het belangrijkste type dat in het Verenigd Koninkrijk zal worden gebruikt.
d. Eigendom van de klant
Dit zijn producten die aan klanten zoals Extended Warehouse Service worden geleverd. Deze producten zijn eigendom van de klant en worden alleen gedistribueerd door Business Express.

The companies must pass a 75/25 rule - at least 75% of operating income must come from property related activities and 25% of company income must be derived from rental income. The investment process deploys both top down views along with bottom up stock selection. From a top-down perspective, the team examines three areas: macro factors, valuation and sentiment (liquidity).
