The accelerated development of industrial structures has complicated forming workpiece shapes more than ever before. That’s why the clamping area for a jig or a vise becomes narrow and leads to tool vibration and imperfect machining conditions. Workpiece materials are also evolving to hard-to-cut materials and high hardness in order to achieve higher durability for industrial components. This is often said to be the major cause of shortened tool life and unexpected tool breakage in many modern metal cutting applications. So companies dealing with unstable workpiece clamping and hard-to-cut materials have growing demands for cutting tools that are able to solve these problems.
TP2P responds to these demands by using the tangential clamping system and wedge-shaped inserts to improve the clamping stability of the tool itself. Therefore unstable clamping of workpiece can be off-set by a strong clamping force of the tool. In addition, a sharp chip breaker design and high helix angle were applied to the insert design for stable cutting performance in hard-to-cut materials and high hardened workpieces. These design details lead to exceptional increases in tool life.
Additionally, the tangential-type clamping system facilitates securing chip pockets and enables multiple-corner use to boost productivity. TP2P features low force cutting performance even at high speeds and high feeds thanks to its optimized blade design that effectively reduces vibration and cutting resistance during operations. Now productivity can be improved over non-tangential designs by more than 30% due to increases in table feeds, stable clamping, and high speed/high feed rates. Many and varied are the paths along which Paul Klee travelled on his journey to become an artist. Seen as a historical process, what appears in retrospect as the logical development propelled by an artist’s sovereign tensions was a frequently agonising research, a series of fresh attempts. Klee also made a number of beginnings.
Since he was endowed simultaneously with three gifts – as a poet, as a musician, and as a draughtsman or painter–, Klee vacillated, indecisive about which path was right for him. After completing his Abitur, which qualified him for university, he went to Munich to receive training as a painter at the city’s Academy of Fine Arts. He arrived at this decision not least of all because it offered him an opportunity to leave his town of Berne and “get away as quickly as possible, out of this country, to go somewhere else that is larger, more interesting, more lively […]” In October of 1898, however, he was refused admission to the Munich Academy of Fine Arts due to his lack of “practical knowledge of the figural”. During the preceding years, Klee had produced almost exclusively landscape of drawings or watercolours. Ludwig von Löfftz, the director of the Academy, therefore recommended that he attend the private drawing school of Heinrich Knirr by way of preparation.

Source text - English B. Grind and Hone (Metal and Resin Bond Diamonds)
1. Grind the floor within 1-5 inches of walls with 40s or 70s grit metal bond diamonds in a cross-hatching pattern (two passes at 90° to each other), using planetary or counter-rotating head machines or suitable polishing equipment with an overlapping capability.
NOTE: If grinding is performed dry, the equipment should be fitted with a dust collection system.
2. Vacuum the floor thoroughly with squeegee attachment and inspect the surface for flatness, smoothness and test for absorbency, after each grit.
3. Continue grinding within 1-5 inches of walls, in a cross-hatching pattern (two passes at 90° to each other) until there is a uniform scratch pattern. Use 100-200 grit metal bond, followed by a 100 grit resin bond diamonds.
NOTE: For StarSeal PS Ultra Stain Application skip to “C” below and Section III.
4. For edge grinding, alternate grinding the edges and the floor using a variable speed edge grinder fitted with a dust collector, or use a wet grinding process. You may need to use some or all of these grits depending upon the concrete: 40, 70, 150 Metals and 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000 Resins. Make sure to remove all of the scratches from the previous grit. Clean the edges after each diamond grit; inspect for scratches.
NOTE: for small areas such as countertops, follow all procedures using a hand grinder. Inspect the surface for flatness, smoothness, and color uniformity.
NOTE: It is important to grind the floor flat. If the floor is not flat, the high spots on the surface stained concrete can be cut away by the polishing diamonds. When a high spot is cut, the color will be removed and the floor will look uneven in its coloration, reflectivity and appearance.
