Shumil in English

Description: I've completed my first translation from Russian to English (http://fan.lib.ru/s/shumil_p/tale5entxt.shtml). It is SF novel. I very want to make the author (Pavel Shumil, http://dragonbase.narod.ru) be known outside of xUSSR, but... My English is at novice level. Can anybody show me my errors?
If I fix this translation, I shall translate other books by this author. He is one of the small number of modern authors writing true wholesome SCIENCE fiction.
Additional details: Pavel Shumil is non-commercial author, all his works are free to download from his site (http://dragonbase.narod.ru).
