Source text - English Adventkalender an der Liebburg
Die Liebburg, das Rathaus der Stadt Lienz, verwandelt sich alljährlich zum großen Adventkalender, an dem sich den staunenden Besuchern täglich um 18:30 Uhr ein neues Kunstkalenderfenster öffnet.
Heimische Künstler gestalten die 24 Fenster des Rathauses und stellen ihre Arbeiten für die Kunstauktion des Serviceclubs Round Table Lienz und der österreichweiten Aktion „Licht ins Dunkel“ zur Verfügung.
Das tägliche Öffnen der Kalenderfenster am Abend, umrahmt von Live-Musik und Livemoderation des heimischen Radios, wird zum kommunikativen und gesellschaft-lichen Treffen von Bürgern und Gästen und ermöglicht eine lebendige Begegnung mit der Kunst. Der Lienzer Adventmarkt mit dem großen Kunstkalender an der Lieb-burg stellt damit den abendlichen Treffpunkt des Adventgeschehens dar.
Sonderausstellung zum Adventkalender und Kunstauktion
Die Originalwerke des Adventkalenders werden in einer Sonderausstellung der Öf-fentlichkeit präsentiert. Die vom Serviceclub Round Table 22 Lienz organisierte Kunstauktion der Kunstwerke vom Adventkalender findet immer Anfang Jänner im Ratsaal der Liebburg statt. Der Reinerlös dieser Aktion kommt heimischen Notlei-denden zu Gute.
Die Idee
Die Idee zum Kunstkalender kam vor neun Jahren vom Verein Stadtmarketing Lienz. Seither engagieren sich der Serviceclub Round Table und das Stadtmarketing glei-chermaßen um den Fortbestand dieses anspruchvollen Projektes.
Die Auswahl der Künstler erfolgt jeweils im Frühjahr. Eine Fachjury trifft dir Auswahl aus den zahlreichen Bewerbungen, die sich um einen begehrten Platz auf einem der 24 Rathausfenstern bemühen.

Advent Calendar on Liebburg Castle
Every year, Liebburg castle, the town hall of Lienz, is turned into a huge advent calendar, where visitors flock together daily at 6:30 p.m. to marvel at another art calendar window being opened.
Local artists will artfully decorate the 24 windows of the town hall where they have made their works of art available to the organizers of the art auction of the Lienz Round Table Service Club to bring "light into the darkness" across the Austrian nation.
The daily opening of the calendar windows in the evenings, enhanced by live music and the live broadcast of the local radio station; it becomes a social and communicative meeting point for citizens and guests alike where they can experience live art afresh. Thus, the Lienzer market with the huge art calendar on the Liebburg castle organized during the advent season becomes a place where everything focuses on the event of advent every night.
Special exhibition in connection with the advent calendar and art auction
All original works of the advent calendar will be shown to the public in a special exhibition. This exhibition organized by the Service Club Round Table 22, Lienz, always takes place in the Liebburg meeting hall at the beginning of January. The net proceeds of this auction will be donated to needy people.
The idea
The idea to create an art calendar was conceived by the Verein Stadtmarketing (City Marketing Club), Lienz, nine years ago. Since that time the Round Table Service Club and the City Marketing Club have been endeavouring to continue in the tradition of this demanding project.
Every spring new artists will be chosen. From numerous applications, a panel of experts determines the 24 artists privileged to display their work of art at one town hall window.

Die Aufnahme der Patientin erfolgte aus der gefäßchirurgischen Sprechstunde zur weiterführenden angiographischen Diagnostik bei Ulcus cruris rechts unter Berücksichtigung der erschwerten Bedingungen bei vorbestehender diabetischer Nephropathie. Translation - English The patient was sent here by the vascular surgeon to a follow-up angiographic examination concerning the diagnosed ulcer in her lower leg, and we were informed about her aggravated physical state in connection with her previous diabetic nephropathy. Present condition: The pycnic patient is in an impeded general condition, normal state of nutrition, no symptoms suggesting acute cardiopulmonary decompensation, no meningism, no jaundice, equal diameter of the [convergent] pupils, immediate reaction to light, no cyanosis, dry mucous membranes, pharynx not inflamed, neural exit points free. Colon: no jugular vein ingurgitation, no goitre, no swelling of the lymph nodes, carotids w/o stenosis/murmurs/bruits, thorax: Lungs: Vesicular respiratory sound, both lobes of the lung inhale properly, no rattling, heart: Pure heart sounds, arrhythmic heart reaction, abdomen: Soft abdominal walls, no abdominal defence, no tenderness to pressure, no resistances, liver can be palpated under coastal arch, gall bladder not palpable, spleen not palpable, regular peristalsis in all four quadrants, extremities: Ulcer in lower leg, no oedemas.
I take on technical, medical translations, legal and general translations. During my career history I have dealt with many different subjects and am used to working to tight deadlines. Apart from working as a part-time translator for the lawyers Willkie, Farr and Gallagher in Frankfort I have also translated a medical book from English into German and hundreds of medical reports.
I was part of a highly productive translator team in London for 6 years where we earned the company a fortune. I lived for 5 years in France in Paris and in Marseille and am now working in Fes, Morocco, since last year where I am teaching German/English at a private school. Translation however, is what I really enjoy doing. :) Whenever the work situation is slackish I work on my Arabic or try to earn some Kudo points.
