I’m a native English (UK) speaker and hold an MA in Translation Studies, with Distinction, from the University of Nottingham. I studied French, Spanish and Russian as part of my undergraduate degree and spent my third year of university living abroad in each of these countries, meaning I have an excellent understanding of these languages, not just from an academic perspective but from a local one too.
I passionately believe customers should be able to interact with businesses in their own languages and I pride myself on delivering a reliable and personal service, whilst also delivering on quality.
Prior to starting my freelance translation career, I worked in-house for almost 2 years as a Translation Administrative Coordinator at one of the industry’s leading language services and technology providers. This experience has afforded me a unique insight into the needs of a variety of clients and how best to meet them.
