Bio:I am a Business English lecturer and a freelance translator based in Gdańsk, Poland. I graduated from English philology at Gdańsk University in 2007 and did post-graduate studies at Warsaw University in 2010 though I had started working as a freelance translator aroun...d 2002 translating text, leaflets and websites.
English has always been my passion and I consider myself furtunate to work with what I love most.
Bio:I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and my fluent English comes as a result of an extended period of living, studying and working in the Republic of Ireland. While working as a translator and interpreter in both countries, Brazil and Ireland, I have acquired vast... experience in a wide variety of situations and subjects.
I have a Masters in Translation Studies from Dublin City University and an Honours Bachelor Degree in Languages and Linguistics (Portuguese and English) from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina (Brazil). In addition, I hold a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) awarded by the University of Cambridge.
My university specialities in linguistics, my background in IT and in the legal field make me particularly skilful in the translation of themes related to the social sciences, technology and legal correlated documents. As a freelancer translator and interpreter for many agencies, I have also gained experience in translating pharmaceutical, mechanical and financial texts.
