In an academic article about wear on rotary percussive drill bits:
Sobre el desgaste térmico, Osburn...estableció las curvas de dureza en función de la temperatura de trabajo para el carburo y el tungsteno y el cuarzo.... El desgaste térmico se clasificia a partir de estos trabajos. Steinmuller en 1991 estableció la temperatura de fallo térmico en torno a los 200°C. I might be going out on a limb here, but I am going to pressume that "boca" is a typo for "broca" (drill bit), which would make so much more sense (to me, at least).
