Spanish term

poema poliestrófico

Spanish to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature poetry
Term comes from an Iberian Spanish academic study of the literary and dramatic works based on a local legend in Andalusia. The writer makes reference to one of the works, which in this case is a poem, and part of the description includes the term:

poema poliestrófico

Evidently, the term that's giving me a headache is "poliestrófico". I'm aware that "estrofa" means stanza, but I can't for the life of me find a decent equivalent for this term in particular.
Any help very gratefully received

multi-stanza poem

https://brainly.com/question/14934897

"In poetry, a stanza sometimes develops a single idea related to the main topic of a larger poem. Emerson and Whitman both follow this practice in structuring their poems. Write a paragraph supporting this statement. Cite at least two pieces of evidence from Emerson’s multi-stanza poem and Whitman’s single-stanza poem."

"To facilitate simple strophic setting the poets made sure that each stanza of a multi-stanza poem followed the same metrical scheme, and they naturally assumed that composers would follow it too."

"Los poemas se clasifican en 'estróficos' y 'no estróficos' (no pueden dividirse en estrofas). Los estróficos se dividen en 'monoestróficos' (una sola estrofa) y poliestróficos (más de una). Los poliestróficos pueden subdividirse según el número de estrofas y según la forma en que éstas se presentan."

polystrophic poem

If you google this term it seems to be used in academic papers, most of which I am not allowed to access!

Whereas the other thing – ‘polystrophic rhymed gush to loved ones’ is Benn’s description – not even the layman thinks that’s poetry. Poetry, Anna Akhmatova said, ‘is made from all sorts of rubbish’.

Whether it is a matter of monostrophic or polystrophic structures...

Note from asker:
"Rhymed gush" would be the ideal term for the type of material the author of the study is looking at. 19th century Spanish Romantic poetry about doomed lovers during who commit suicide by hurling themselves from a rock. So bad it's good...
