Portuguese term

IDPN

Portuguese to English Other Finance (general) Banking
This is a field within the Client Identification section of a form for opening an investment account at Novobanco in Portugal, I cannot for the life of me work out what it stands for - an 8 digit number can go in the space... it comes between Account Number and Name, and then there is ID Number, NIF, address.

Pretty sure it is not Intradialytic parenteral nutrition or Instituto de Defesa da População Negra, which are the main hits I find when searching, or Iberoamerican Data Protection Network..
Change log

Jun 18, 2023 15:27: Carlos Quandt changed "Level" from "Non-PRO" to "PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): Mario Freitas, Ana Cravidao, Carlos Quandt

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

There is another field in the same section with B.I/Cartao Cidadao - which would be the Personal ID number...

Novo Banco Term Deposit Identity

IDPN most probably means Identidade do Depósito a Prazo do Novo Banco.
I have found a document that uses DP for Depósito a Prazo and DO for Depósito à Ordem no Novo Banco.
N at first I thought was for Nacional but the bank is Novo Banco so it represents the bank.
I is identidade or identificador
