Italian to English Medical Medical (general)
This is from a report from a histology examination with regards to bladder cancer, under the section 'Macroscopic description'

What woult 'Rondella' mean in this context:

'Rondella di XXX cm di diametro, inclusa in loto per esame intraoperatorio.'

translation

'Circular tissue sample measuring XXXcm in diameter, included in its entirety for intraoperative examination'


'Washer' doesn't seem correct in this context... or am I missing something?

'Measuring' is redundant
'Loto' should read 'toto', as you've realised.

I think you've already hit upon it with "circular tissue sample", if the context is tissue samples and sampling. Otherwise 'rondella' could simply be a circular area or affected zone.
