I'm not even sure if I get the context correct. But since you classified it as management I am assuming that it means money (buck as in dollar).
As I understand it, it means money, money, money - all that is matter is money, everything revolves around money, and not in a good way (hence the late mention change maybe), that life has more into it than pursuing money.
