Illness can never be foreseen, which is why we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. The insurance applies if you, a member of your family or another close relative suffers acute illness, has an accident or dies. “Close relative” in this context refers to the insured person’s spouse, children, grandchildren, siblings, parents, grandparents and parents-in-law, person with whom the insured person cohabits in a quasi-marital relationship or a travelling companion stated in your booking. Cancellation insurance also covers additional items such as car rentals, hotels, theatre tickets, etc.
