There is not a great deal of context for "Ausbuttern", just this one appearance in a list:

| Thanks for the fast answer! Re "dampening solution" - the customer calls there machine a "rotor dampening system", so unless the term it's completely meaningless, I think I'm stuck with "dampening" really. |
