Der Markt der XXX wurde verschlafen und muss neu überdacht werden. Die Firma YYY verabschiedet sich Stück für Stück aus dem XXX Markt.
Mein Vorschlag, der allerdings nicht so glücklich klingt:
The XXX market has been neglected and has to be newly rethought. The company YYY says slowly goodbye to the XXX market!
Es ist sehr spät und mein Kopf raucht schon. Wer weiß mir zu helfen?

neglected finde ich gut hier, würde jedoch im zweiten Teil eher sagen:
