German to English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
Ok, ich kenne mich mit Abkürzungen nicht aus - ich gebs ja zu...

Also wiedermal beim Qualitätsmanagement, Bahn,
für Messmittel: Schablonen, Drehmomentschluessel, ZIP-Einrichtungen

Ich glaube nicht das dies etwas mit zip-files/drives zu tun hat...

Non-ProZ.com Dec 28, 2004:
Thanks everyone for your help.
I had worked from a bad quality printout, and while proofreading I noticed that it could actually be "ZFP". So I looked it up and it found a perfect match - zerstoerungs freie Pruefung / Non destructive testing.
Non-ProZ.com Dec 23, 2004:
I think it might be some sort of tool/machine? I'm not sure it has anything to do with cleaning, as I can't think of a german word that starts with Z for anything cleaning-related.....

German term (edited): ZIP Einrichtung

CIP units

I think they mean CIP (cleaning in place) or SIP (sanitation in place).

Well, I think the German is a typo, as Germans pronounce the English CIP = ZIP
Something went wrong...
