We were clearly instructed by our upperclassmen to wear green on the opening day, an indication of our academic organization, Clovers. Other than that, they also gave us mini hats covered in green glitters and, as we entered the covered court we were cheering for Clovers. Before the program ended, the hymn of UP Naming Mahal started playing. It gave chills to my bones hearing everyone sing and up to now I still get those goose bumps upon hearing the song. This was my first time to sing UP Naming Mahal with the rest of the Iskolars ng Bayan. At the middle of the song, some students entered with left fists raised and shouted, "Junk, Junk, STS!" as soon as they've reached the stage.
