Source text - Spanish Estamos aquí para servir al campo de misión de México. Es nuestro cometido servir a México dando de nuestro amor y nuestras vidas para llevar la verdad y salvación de Jesucristo a la mayor cantidad de vidas que podamos. Servimos a los niños y al pueblo Mexicano con nuestros corazones, habilidades, recursos y vidas a tiempo completo. Es nuestro privilegio poder alcanzar a algunas de las personas más humildes y agradecidas a las que jamás hemos conocido.
Misión México es un equipo de misioneros dedicados a compartir el amor de Dios con los demás. Buscamos consolar, ayudar y ministrar a los necesitados, procurando seguir el ejemplo que nos dejó Jesús, cuyo ministerio fue "dar buenas nuevas a los pobres; me ha enviado a sanar a los quebrantados de corazón; a pregonar libertad a los cautivos, y vista a los ciegos; a poner en libertad a los oprimidos."
Procuramos dar el mensaje de amor y salvación de Dios por todos los medios posibles. Entre ellos: sirviendo a pobres y a niños; ministrando a niños con cáncer; cantando; haciendo teatro y shows de títeres; distribuyendo programas educativas de computadora, libros y CDs; dando seminarios y orientación personal, y más.
Nuestra misión da testimonio de nuestras creencias Cristianas y nuestro mensaje de amor y esperanza.
Misión México se esfuerza por ayudar a los necesitados, sin importar su raza, religión, país de origen o nivel social. Translation - English We are here to serve the mission field of Mexico. It is our commitment to serve Mexico with our love and the giving of our lives to bring the truth and salvation of Jesus Christ into as many lives as we can. We serve the children and people of Mexico with our hearts, skills, resources and the giving of our lives full time. It is our privilege to reach some of the most humble and grateful people we have ever served.
MexCity Mission is a team of missionaries dedicated to sharing God's Love with others. We seek to comfort, help and minister to those in need, endeavoring to follow the model of Jesus, who said His ministry was to "preach the Gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prisons to them that are bound.”
We endeavor to convey God's message of love and salvation by any means that we can. This includes serving the poor and orphans, ministering to children with cancer, performing songs, skits and puppet shows, distributing educational computer programs, books and CDs, giving seminars, personal counseling, and more.
Our mission gives witness to our Christian beliefs and message of love and hope.
MexCity Mission strives to respond to all people in need regardless of race, religion, national origin or social position. We cooperate with people and organizations from all cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds in our efforts to bring relief and hope to those in need. Bio
I'm 27 years old and have lived in South America and Mexico for the last 10 years of my life. During this time I've been a volunteer with a variety of projects and NGOs, and it is through these travels that I've learned my Spanish. I believe that the best way to understand a language is to fully connect with the culture and the people, and this is what I've done in Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and Mexico.
I firmly believe that my interactions with the various cultures of these countries has given me a comprehension and grasp of the language that would have otherwise been impossible - or nearly so - to achieve through conventional study.
At this point in my life I am about to embark on a new journey, and this is why I'm beginning to do freelance translating. I hope to use this method to fund my altruistic works and thus be able to continue on in my true passion - helping to change lives and hearts in my chosen field.
