My name is Andre and I am a translator with over 15 years of experience. I specialize in legal translation, business translation, subtitle translation and localization.

I worked as an in-house translator in a law firm in Taipei for over 9 years as well as in an insurance company in Taipei for around 2 years. In addition to in-house experience, I have also freelanced for several translation agencies throughout the years. My freelance projects in recent years focus on legal, business, and financial translations, from Chinese to English, and from English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

I am a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese from Taiwan. I also speak English, French and Taiwanese. I have a master’s degree in translation studies from Taipei and another master’s degree in translation and corpus linguistics from Paris.

I enjoy working with words and pay attention to details. I also take pleasure in doing extensive research in order to understand a technical term in a given text.
