I am translating a marriage certificate from the Dominican Republic and the following sentence doesn't make any sense to me. Can anyone understand it?
Certificamos: que en la oficialia del estado civil de 1ra circunscripción de Puerto Plata, registrado al dia catorce del mes de abril del año dos mil ocho (14-04-2008), se encuentra inscrito en el Libro no. 0000 de registros de MATRIMONIO CIVIL, Folio no. 0000 Acta no. 0000 Año 2008, el MATRIMONIO celebrado el dia catorce del mes de abril del año dos mil ocho (14-04-2008) en ME TRASLADE AL HOTEL GRAN VENTANA, PUERTO PLATA.

Hola Adam, si miras este enlace, vas a ver que se celebran bodas en el hotel, entiendo que en vez de celebrarse la boda en la oficialía del Registro, se celebró en el hotel...o sea held at Hotel Gran Ventana, Puerto Plata, o como sea que armes la frase.
