Il semblerait qu'un "membership savings account" soit un type de compte épargne aux US, où il est possible de verser automatiquement de l'argent. Je présume donc que sur un relevé de comptes cela signifierait les versements faits vers ce compte ?

: What makes you think that there is an implied missing bit (i.e. "account")???// No, it's not logical - "membership saving" wouldn't be the account name (AFAIK no one makes special accounts of that kind), but a description of one of the entries.

Where does this appear? What is before and after it? Is there an amount shown against it?
All of this is IMPORTANT CONTEXT
"membership savings" = here is how much you saved thanks to your membership to some "special type" of bank account.
That would be a typical gimmick to remind clients of the "benefits" of all kind of offers. First quote the "full price" (on the debit side) then the "saving" on the credit side.
So far, that's what's the most plausible.
