Απ' ό,τι καταλαβαίνω, fusion partner genes ονομάζονται τα γονίδια που συνενώνονται με ένα επιθυμητό γονίδιο ώστε να προκύψει ένα χρήσιμο προϊόν. Νομίζω ότι δεν υπάρχει καθιερωμένη μετάφραση για το partner, γι' αυτό προτείνω να το παραλείψεις και να δώσεις το νόημα του όρου.
