Discussion

Da_jivee (asker) Oct 31, 2007:
It DOES NOT concern the physical aspects of the actor. They mean that its performance was attractive to the audience. I thought of ελκιστικός, but I definitely want to avoid any association with physical attractiveness.

Can you provide more of the text where the words are found? Is it talking about the physical aspect of the performer or something else? We need to know to provide you with a suitable and logical equivalent. -Valentini

πραγματικά ενδιαφέρων ερμηνευτής / καθηλωτικός ερμηνευτής

Of course it is not a literal translation. I thought of "attractive" as "engaging", so first of all I used the word "ερμηνευτής" instead of actor, because per se it means that he is more than just an actor. And then I propose "πραγματικά ενδιαφέρων", because I believe that if you just say "ενδιαφέρων" it is more or less neutral, or "καθηλωτικός", which is even stronger.

Επίσης "ένας ηθοποιός που μαγεύει / μαγνητίζει το κοινό".
