workplace accidents
I'm translating a text about workplace accidents and the literal translation of the term that's bothering me is "prevention of labour risks".
When I do a search in Google for "risk prevention" + workers, the first page is all translations from Spanish. In other words, thisn't isn't the term used naturally in anglo contexts.
I already have some ideas but would like to hear what people living in EN-speaking contexts would use.
Thanks

: Or "occupational", if your text is at all official.

: This is a term that is quite widely used. Of course, one can only reduce the risks and the accident rate, not prevent them. I'd agree if there was sufficient context to know whether this fits.

Comment: "I agree wuth B D Finch, that risk isn't prevented, it's accidents that are prevented, and thanks David, I find lots of hits for this term in the right kind of sites. If it were also about health, the term would probably be along the lines of "workplace health and safety"."

Some of the sites you cite actually point to the same problem: they are from Greece, Belgium etc. Whereas the Canadian and Australian ones don't refer to "risk prevention" |
