I'd have said that 'sport' is clearer - 'sporting' has more than one meaning:
"sport·ing(spôrtng, spr-)
adj.
1. Used in or appropriate for sports: sporting goods.
2. Characterized by sportsmanship.
3. Of or associated with gambling."
( From: http://tinyurl.com/2b4w2y )
and it sounds a little odd to me in the context.

Or:
'sports and leisure/recreation'
