A keen observer of life and culture, Linda Hollier is currently living in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

One of her first wishes as a child was to own a camera, and to this day, she enjoys capturing moments that strike her as she goes about her day.

Her love of photography and art has merged with her interest in technology. She creates artwork entirely on her iPhone and then has this printed onto canvas or wood. She is excited to be involved in this new and revolutionary art movement.

Linda Hollier’s artistic research expands into realms which allow her to work with and explore the concepts of the simultaneous occurrence of rootedness and movement, of emptiness and fullness and the essence of presence.

Her figures are present in a space filled with mystery and potential. The viewer is invited to enter this space to discover the story waiting to unfold.

Using her iPhone, Linda intuitively captures images with slow-shutter photography. She then transforms them, blending and painting on her iPhone screen, achieving this with the aid of various apps. …

سيرتها الفنية:
هي مراقبة ألمعية للثقافة والحياة, وليندا هوليير تقطن حالياً في إمارة أبو ظبي في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
كانت أولى أمنياتها منذ نعومة أظفارها أن تمتلك كاميرا تصوير, وهي حتى الآن تستمتع جداً بالتقاط صور توثق أي لحظات تمر بيومها.

لقد اندمج حبها للتصوير الفوتوغرافي والفن باهتمامها اللافت بالتكنولوجيا, فهي تقوم بإتمام الصور على جهازها الآيفون ومن ثم تطبع قطعتها الفنية على ورق الكانفاس الاحترافي أو على الخشب. هي جد متحمسة لكونها معنية بهذه الحركة الفنية الجديدة جذرياً.

أعمالها الفنية:

امتدت أعمال ليندا هوليير الفنية إلى مجالات تسمح لها بالتعامل مع مفاهيم معينة واكتشافها؛ خصوصا ً المفاهيم التي يظهر فيها كل من الحركة والسكون, والفراغ والامتلاء في آن معاً، بالإضافة لمفهومها عن جوهر الحضور.

صورها حاضرة في مساحة ملؤها الغموض والارتقاب, حيث أن الناظر إلى أعمالها مدعو لدخول هذه المساحة واكتشاف قصة تنتظر تفسيراً.

تلتقط ليندا وبشكل بديهي صوراً بعدسة بطيئة الإغلاق. باستعمالها هاتفها الآيفون تقوم بإضافة تعديلاتها الخاصة من مزج وتلوين على الشاشة مستخدمة لأجل ذلك عدداً من التطبيقات المتنوعة.

I am a translation freelancer since 2002, who can play with texts. I have very good language skills to work as a successful translator ( My pair of languages is English <> Arabic). 

I am good in changing the ‘source languages’ into the ‘target language’ with a strong commitment to excellence.

I am very curious and detail-oriented while I work on translating projects.

-We have a keen eye for each and every detail while working with different languages, and always try to make sure that the translated texts deliver the original meaning and tone to the listeners.

As a translator I am very passionate about any new translation task.
