I attended training courses on the computer programs of windows, word and Internet and simultaneous interpretation, which were organized by the State Information Service and Plan International and delivered by experienced trainers.

Current Work and Experience:

I have been working as a senior translator for more than 15 years. My work has been running in two organizations. The first organization is the State Information Service of the ministry of information of Egypt where I have been translating all kinds of news coming from all over the world from English into Arabic. Then the news are edited and forwarded to the presidency of the republic, the officials in the State Information Service, in the ministry of information and in other concerned organizations of the state. I also have been participating in the translation of the status-quo political, social and economic books from English into Arabic. The translated books are published and distributed by the State Information Service. Through my work in the State Information Service I got aware of the up-to-date world issues.

The second organization is PLAN International, which is a world development and charitable organization. PLAN has branches and national offices around the world. As a senior translator at PLAN, I have been translating social, health and development-related topics. I also have been revising the translated works of the junior translators.

In my work, I have been using computer programs such as windows, word and Internet. I have also attended a training course on simultaneous interpretation, which was organized by the State Information Service and delivered by an experienced interpreter from the United Nations.
