Tekst źródłowy - angielski The administration subsystem is intended, first of all, for adjustment of the access rights of the user groups BILL-TECHT. The adjustment consists in splitting the users of BILL-TECHT on groups and assignment of the access rights to the data for each of these groups. In addition of work with groups the administration subsystem includes the functions of adjustment the system BILL-TECHT as a whole and also function of work directly with MSSQL 7.0T server (administration functions).
The administration subsystem is based on the system tables of server MSSQL 7.0T and is, somewhat, a superstructure above administration system of server, keeping all its safety policy. Owing to use of system resources of server, the work with the subsystem is possible only at existence of the rights of the system manager of SQL server.For simplification of the manager work the stored procedures of system BILL-TECHT are broken on groups - the functions. The groups access to these functions is defined by the manager. The enclosure of groups is possible, and the access rights to functions are inherited.
For convenience of work with the administration subsystem it is provided the multilingual interface. The language resources are delivered as modules DLL and can be loaded "on the move", i.e. without restart of the subsystem.

Настройка заключается в разделении пользователей BILL-TECHT на группы и определении прав доступа к данным для каждой из этих групп. В дополнение к работе с группами, подсистема администрирования включает функции настройки системы BILL-TECHT в целом, а также функцию работы с MSSQL 7.0T сервером напрямую (функции администрирования).
Подсистема администрирования основана на системных таблицах MSSQL 7.0T сервера и является в некотором смысле надстройкой над административной системой сервера, хранящей всю его политику безопасности. Благодаря использованию системных ресурсов сервера работа с подсистемой возможна только при наличии прав менеджера системы SQL сервера. Для упрощения работы менеджера хранимые процедуры системы BILL-TECHT разбиты на группы - функции. Доступ групп пользователей к этим функциям определяется менеджером. Допускается вложение групп, и права доступа при этом наследуются.
Для удобства работы с подсистемой администрирования она снабжена многоязыковым интерфейсом. Языковые ресурсы поставляются в виде DLL модулей и могут быть загружены "на лету", т.е. без перезагрузки подсистемы.

Visitors old-fashioned enough to wish only to stand and look with their anachronistic eyes are shoved aside by the photographers, who take it for granted that while they do their ritual focusing, nothing else may move or cross their vision. Those peculiar souls without a camera must step aside for those more properly occupied, must wait while the rituals take place, and must bide their time while whole coaches stop and unleash upon the landscape the Instamatic God. And the populations of whole countries seeing themselves cannibalised, swallowed up, vacuumed into the black-ringed staring eye, wrench what they can from the cannibals. You want picture my house, my camel? You pay.
None of this would matter, perhaps, if anything worthwhile was being accomplished. If all the constant busyness and clicking produced, at its end, what had not existed before, images of beauty captured or truth told. But, sadly, this isn't so. The camera is simply graffiti made respectable.
The camera is the means by which we stamp ourselves on everything we see, under cover of recording the Wonders of the World already wonderfully
recorded by professionals and on sale at every corner bookshop and newsagent. But what use to show Aunt Maud, back home, postcards of the Tuscan landscape, since we are not in the picture to prove that we were there?
No stretch of rocks has verity unless I am within it. No monument exists
but for my wife, leaning against it. No temple is of interest without my face beside it, grinning. With my camera I appropriate everything beautiful, possess it, shrink it, domesticate it, and reproduce it on my blank sitting-room wall to prove to a selected audience of friends and family the one absolutely vital fact about these beauties: I saw them, I was there, I photographed them, and, ergo, they are.

Все это, возможно, не имело бы значения, если бы в результате получалось что-нибудь полезное. Если бы эта постоянная суета и щелканье камерой в итоге создавали что-то, чего еще не было - фотоснимки, запечатлевшие красоту или открывающие истину. Грустно сознавать, что это не так. Фотография - лишь благопристойный вариант настенных надписей.
Фотокамера - это способ оставить свой след на том, что видишь, прикрываясь фотографированием чудес света, давно уже расчудесным образом отснятых профессионалами и продающихся на каждом углу в книжных лавках и газетных киосках. Но что толку, вернувшись домой, показывать тетушке фотографии тосканского пейзажа, если вас нет в кадре, чтобы подтвердить, что вы там были?
Никакое нагромождение скал не реально, если в нем нет меня. Ни один памятник не существует, если к нему не прислоняется моя жена. Ни один храм не представляет интереса, если рядом нет моей сияющей физиономии. С помощью камеры я приобретаю все красивое, я владею им, я сжимаю его в размерах, приручаю его и воспроизвожу на пустой стене своей гостиной, дабы подтвердить избранным друзьям и членам семьи важнейшую истину об этих красотах: я их видел, я там был, я их сфотографировал, и следовательно, они есть.

Tekst źródłowy - angielski The problem of being awkward with introductions is not, for many, an “unusual situation.” You may find that you are often uncertain about whether to introduce someone using their first name, last name, or both; about whether to use a qualifier (“this is my friend, ______”); even about whether or not it is in fact your responsibility to introduce two people in a given situation. But all of this is small potatoes compared with the seemingly inevitable mingling nightmare of having to introduce someone whose name you have forgotten.
It’s one thing to forget someone’s name if you’ve met them only once or twice, or if you haven’t seen them in a while. But all too often it’s someone whose name you really should know, and who is going to be insulted to find out you don’t. In other words, a faux pas in the making.
This is absolute agony when it happens, and I’ve watched hundreds of minglers try to deal with different ways, ranging from exuberant apology (“Oh GOD, I’m so sorry, JEEZ, wow, I can’t believe I’ve forgotten your name!”) to throwing up their hands and walking away. But there are better ways to deal with this kind of mental slip. Next time you draw a blank while making introductions, try the following ploy:
Force them to introduce themselves. This is the smoothest and most effective way to handle your memory lapse. When it’s done well, no one will ever suspect you. If you have forgotten one person’s name in the group, turn to that person first and smile. Then turn invitingly to a person whose name you do remember and say, “This is Linden Bond,” turning back casually toward the forgotten person. The person whose name you haven’t mentioned yet will automatically (it’s a reflex) say “Nice to meet you, Linden, I’m Sylvia Cooper,” and usually offer a hand to shake.

А назвали его Чебурашкой потом, когда он из леса уехал и встретился с людьми. Ведь это же люди дают зверям имена. Это они сказали слону, что он слон, жирафу – что он жираф, а зайцу – что он заяц. Но слон, если бы подумал, мог бы догадаться, что он слон. Ведь у него же очень простое имя. А каково зверю с таким сложным именем, как гиппопотам. Поди догадайся, что ты не ги-потам, не по-потам, а именно гип-по-по-там.
Так вот и наш зверек: он никогда не задумывался над тем, как его зовут, а просто жил себе да жил в далеком тропическом лесу. Однажды он проснулся утром рано, заложил лапы за спину и отправился немного погулять и подышать свежим воздухом. Гулял он себе, гулял и вдруг около большого фруктового сада увидел несколько ящиков с апельсинами. Недолго думая, Чебурашка забрался в один из них и стал завтракать. Он съел целых два апельсина и так объелся, что ему трудно стало передвигаться. Поэтому он прямо на фруктах и улегся спать.
Спал Чебурашка крепко, он, конечно, не слышал, как подошли рабочие и заколотили все ящики. После этого апельсины вместе с Чебурашкой погрузили на корабль и отправили в далекое путешествие.
Ящики долго плавали по морям и океанам и в конце концов оказались во фруктовом магазине очень большого города. Когда их открыли, в одном апельсинов почти не было, а был только толстый-претолстый Чебурашка.

And he was named Cheburashka later, when he left the forest and met people, because it is people who give animals their names. It is they who told Ant that he is an ant, who told Giraffe that he is a giraffe, and who told Rabbit that he is a rabbit. Though Ant, if he gave it a thought, could have guessed that he is an ant, because his name is so very simple. But what could an animal with such a difficult name as Hippopotamus do? Just try to guess that you are not Hippotamus, and not Popotamus, but Hippopotamus!
And such was this little animal: he never thought about what his name was; he simply lived in his faraway tropical forest. One day he woke up early in the morning, put his paws behind his back and left for a walk and a breath of fresh air. He was walking and walking, and all of a sudden he saw several crates of oranges near a big orchard. Without more ado, he got into one of the crates and started having breakfast. He ate as many as two oranges and got so stuffed that he could hardly walk. Therefore, he settled down to go to sleep right on the oranges.
Cheburashka was fast asleep and, of course, could not hear workers come and nail the crates shut. Then the crates of oranges with Cheburashka were loaded onto a ship and sent on a long journey.
The crates were out in the sea for a long time and eventually ended up in a fruit shop in a very big city. When the crates were opened, one of them was almost empty of oranges; inside was only very thick Cheburashka.
