Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Aug 19, 2002:
dental surgery and this 'tooth extraction', is it also considered as a dental surgery? instead of saying "I had a dental surgery..." can I say "I had my tooth operated..." (it sounds a little bit wierd to me)
Dan_Brennan Aug 18, 2002:
it is okay - just a little more colloquial. you could also say: i had my tooth out...
Non-ProZ.com Aug 18, 2002:
Dan Brennan is it OK for me to say "I had my tooth pulled yesterday" instead of "I had my tooth extracted yesterday" ?
Non-ProZ.com Aug 18, 2002:
kemarin gigi saya dioperasi
