I took one from the internet Apr 11, 2007

You know, click with your right mouse button on a picture and choose something like "Use as wallpaper".
Then you simultaneously hit the buttons [Windows] (between Ctrl and Alt down left; there's a Windows sign on the key and often the word Start) and [D] to see whether the aspect ratio is still reasonable.

4 desktops Apr 11, 2007

Since I have Linux and I use 4 virtual desktops I have 4 wallpapers. One is always a calendar, the other three currently feature 3 different wallpapers of HK actor Andy Lau, but this changes from time to time. It always depends on... a picture I want to have on my desktop

Mine used to be the Great Wall Apr 11, 2007

Great topic!
My wallpaper used to be a pic of the Chinese Great Wall, that I took when I first visited China. At the moment - although I am still wondering why - I am using one of the boring MS wallpapers... Ought to change that immediately
Cheers,
Inga

sunny day... Apr 11, 2007

Mine's a blue sky with clouds - my office is a converted cellar, and while it's a great office, it doesn't have a window. So I pretend.

The Danube Apr 11, 2007

Just there where it flows into the Black Sea, on a cloudy-sunny-windy-holi-day. I hope it worked.

la chola misteriosa Apr 11, 2007

I have this one. This is my gf walking in Maimara. She was carrying a typical bag of "cholas".

Upload the picture. I upload them here http://photobucket.com/.
Then resize it/them to web suggested size just to be sure you won't do what I did.
Then copy the HTML code and paste it in your answer.
You can get in touch with me for any further details if necessary.

Good luck!
