Because it's the language I translate it into. However, I have also posted kudoz queries or suggested answers in other languages and find it useful and entertaining to be able to do so.
I never browse a site in a "translated language" if I can (read I understand) the orginal.

Actually, I have no idea if proz.com is available in my native language ... but I never thought to look for the answer. Agree with Nicole and Angie, the site is in English, I understand English ... where is the problem? Have a nice day you all, Marta B.

“What is a native language?” :-/ Which in this context is actually very relevant and illustrates very well the folly of treating my “native language” as a single, unified language. It is not. In fact if I had to browse ProZ in some language other than English I would rather browse it in French than in my “native language” -_-

But I can't guarantee that I haven't browsed on some occasion in the main language I translate from. I can't say that I would necessarily notice (I have a number of free e-mail accounts, some in Spanish and some in English, and it is only because my husband pointed this out that I realised).
.... but only because it's already in my native language (English). So most of the "Yes" replies are no doubt from native English speakers and the percentage will rise when those in North America log in. I agree with those who say they prefer to read a site in its original language, wherever possible.

I have it set to Spanish, I believe. I say that because half of it appears in English anyway. What's wrong with reading translations...
