Street Epistemology International is seeking a skilled Russian Revision Specialist to refine and finalize the Russian translation of our English course, consisting of approximately 54,000 words. The course has been translated using AI, but we are aware of issues that require expert attention, including contextual accuracy and formatting.

Responsibilities:
Content Revision: Compare the AI-translated Russian text with the original English source to ensure alignment in meaning, tone, and clarity.

Editing and Proofreading:
Make necessary adjustments to improve readability and correct any grammatical or linguistic errors.

Formatting Adjustments:
Address specific formatting issues such as flipping bullet-pointed lists and other nuances that may differ between English and Russian text.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure the final product reflects professional standards and meets our expectations before publication.

Progress Tracking:
Update a Google Sheet to track progress, as per Street Epistemology International (SEI)'s request.

Team Collaboration:
Join a dedicated channel on the SEI Discord server to communicate with the broader team and receive feedback or guidance as needed.

Platform Editing:
Use a WYSIWYG editor for content updates; familiarity with basic HTML is a plus. Experience with Kajabi or similar platforms is also highly desirable.

Requirements:
Fluency in both Russian and English, with expertise in translation and linguistic nuances between the two languages.
Experience in revision, editing, and proofreading translations, particularly for long-form content.

Attention to Detail:
Ability to identify and resolve subtle inconsistencies and formatting issues.
Familiarity with cultural context to ensure translations resonate with the target audience.

Preferred: Proficiency or a moderate to advanced understanding of Street Epistemology, as this will help ensure the translation aligns with the philosophy and methodology of the course. Basic understanding of HTML and experience using WYSIWYG editors; familiarity with Kajabi is a plus.

Additional Information:
This role focuses on revision and editing rather than initial translation, and the word count is expected to remain largely unchanged. You will be working directly in the course content management system to implement updates and prepare the content for publication.
