Is the kanji for "cherry blossom" - or something else?

Hi everybody, I have just had a customer ask me a slightly strange question. Could you please let me know if this is the kanji for cherry blossom - or something else. Thank you very much!

It is 桜 (sakura), the kanji for cherry, and can be used for the flower as well.
