Dear all,
I am translating a document on divorce issues. There's a paragraph that reads:
Either party can file a Motion for Temporary Orders for
temporary financial relief and/or relief regarding custody and
parenting time prior to a final Decree being entered or a final trial
in the matter.
b. Upon filing the Motion for Temporary Orders and an Order to
Appear (this is a blank order), the Court will either:
i. Set a temporary orders hearing;
1. Usually witnesses and exhibits ARE ENTERTAINED.
ii. Set a Resolution Management Conference
1. Usually this is a status conference but witnesses and
exhibits may be entertained.
Does "entertain" in this case mean "se solicita la presencia de../presentación de...". According to Cabanelas's legal dictionary "entertain" is "entender en un caso judicial / entretetener / atender". However, I need to understand the meaning.
