Due to cultural issues, we would prefer saying 'faca o limpador trabalhar com' ao inves de 'deixe o limpador trabalhar' ou 'deixe o limpador funcionar' ou ainda 'deixe o limpador operar'. Run is a very usual word in the English language, therefore we should choose a very usual word in the Portuguese language to be accurate. Operar is not usual enough.
