Estoy traduciendo un acuerdo para la prestación de servicios de asesoramiento y, en el apartado sobre incumplimiento de lo pactado, me encuentro con esto:

In the common Law system, during the first stages of the process it couldn´t be required to some of the parts of the suit to supply with some information or documents to the other party. On the contrary, in the equity system it was possible to issue an injunction in this sense . Therefore , if during a process in the common law court one of the parties needed to obtain information or documents from the other party, he had to bring a separated procedure in the equity court.

Courts of equity provide a remedy when common law courts decide a case constitutes an inequitable situation.
