Portuguese term

se qualquer objeto segurado...

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial Insurance
This is in an insurance contract detailing the general conditions of the coverage involved; here goes the text:

Likewise with the preceding and proceeding conditions starting off with "Se deixar de ...", I am having trouble trying to render text so that it's a complete sentence ("if..., then....") - or does this kind of text in an insurance contract not have to be in complete sentences? Here goes my try:

"i) In addition to that which waives Clause 11a of Claims, of the General Terms and Conditions of this policy, if any insured object affected by a claim is held or placed in operation without any redress deemed satisfactory or appropriate by the insurer."

Correct, Ana, It is one of the conditions listed as sub-items of the main period.

In my opinion, there is no text missing, it is just a continuation, an addition to something said previously. From what I read I understood that .... In addition to ((the situation(s) described above in)) Clause 11a - "Claims", of the General Terms and Conditions of this policy, (the same conditions of Clause 11a will additionally apply) to any insured object affected by a claim is held or placed in operation without any redress deemed satisfactory or appropriate by the insurer." I do not think there is any text missing, I just think it is linked to something which was previously said.
Also, I agree with your suggestion of "insured object" as "mantido ou colocado em funcionamento sem que tenha sido reparado" seems to indicate some sort of equipment or machinery.

if any object covered by the policy

The rest of the sentence seems to be missing the conditional clause. maybe it's somewhere else in the text?

However, where did you get redress from?

"..if any object covered by the policy and subject to a claim is kept or put into operation without having undergone repairs deemed satisfactory or appropriate by the insurer."
Note from asker:
Thanks! For the record, redness is the same as repair.
Redress, not redness**

any subject matter of insurance

Thank you, Tom!
neutral Richard Purdom : it's obviously a tangible object Mario, just look at the rest of the sentence

In this specific contract, yes. But the term "objeto" is used in any policy for any object insured, and the term is then "subject matter".
