Contract for sale of an apartment building - Peru
The term appears at the very end of a contract for the sale of an apartment building located in Lima, Peru:
Sírvase Usted Señor Notario, insertar la introducción y conclusión de ley, y **cursar partes al** Registro de Propiedad inmueble para la correspondiente inscripción.
I've consulted the glossaries, but the entries and suggestions there have to do with "submitting parts of the contract," and this doesn't seem to be right. My guess is that the reference is to submitting either a signed original or certified copy to the registry office in question, but I really don't know, and that is why I've posted the term.

I also think this means "dar parte", which I'd normally word as "give notice" or "notify". Notaries often have a duty to notify other relevant areas of government about particular activities, i.e. the registry of commerce, land registry, tax authorities, etc.

Yes Robert, I'm not sure but, even if that were necessary, the source text doesn't mention anything about a copy, so I would simply translate it as you would "dar parte".

Whether it's los or las partes, as per Andy W. likelier to be the former than anatomical specimens, I guess in American that it's copies of the contract as filled in/out.
However, my experience from Spain is that they would have to be affixed tax duty stamps. The Land Registry (quaere: in Peru) may go ahead and register such, but a court will not look at docs. & deeds without a tax stamp.
In the UK, it is the Land Registry that would issue office or official copies e.g. office copy entries of land searches.
