Nu am cine știe ce context. Este un termen folosit pentru a descrie un covor/preș:

TPR Backing (care se referă la materialul din care este confecționat dosul covorului) și
*Pile* (despre care am găsit așa: refers to the surface or texture of the rug created by the fibers. The pile is the visible part of the rug that you see and feel when you touch it. It can vary in length, density, and material composition, contributing to the overall look and feel of the rug).
