From whatever side you look at it, the direct sale of a product occurs in the frame of a small party at somebody´s home. whether your Client likes it or not, the term "home selling party" has meanwhile become an acknowledged and widely used term.

it´s a widely spread custom some firms who dont sell their products through the usual channels (i.e. shops) fall back upon. Their representatives contact private persons interested in the commodities of the firm and suggest these People to invite friends into their homes where the representative shows up with a Collection to then acquaint the persons gathered there with full particulars as to the product and its Prices. Interested buyers may place their orders with the representative who sees to it that the goods ordered reach the buyers within the shortest time possible. Good of the Company Tupperware,e.g. are only sold in this way.
