Περιπατητική Σχολή
Φιλοφοσική σχολή που ιδρύθηκε το 335 π.Χ. στην Αθήνα από το μεγάλο Σταγειρίτη φιλόσοφο Αριστοτέλη. Ονομάστηκε έτσι, γιατί ο Αριστοτέλης συνήθιζε να διδάσκει τους μαθητές του περπατώντας στις στοές του Λυκείου, που βρισκόταν κοντά στον Ιλισό ποταμό. Ο χώρος της σχολής δόθηκε στον Αριστοτέλη από τους μαθητές του και πιθανόν να υπήρχε μακεδονική βοήθεια στην παροχή του μεγάλου αυτού κτήματος.
