the person name above is hereby awarded the degree of ...

where "..." can be replaced by whatever qualification it is (probably Bachelor of Arts or Science, as Dottore is normally closer in equivalence to an undergraduate degree than to a doctorate).

Please don't use Doctor, it would suggest either they had a PhD/dottorato or that they were a qualified medical practitioner. Personally I would just use Bachelor of Economics. HTH :).
Note from asker:
here "dottore" refers to Bachelor in Economics. I would use Doctor, am I right?
therefore ...awarded the degree of Bachelor of Economics? or Bachelor IN Economics? anyway, I would just say: awarded the degree of Bachelor. (or better BA??)

The holder is entitled to the academic qualification of Doctor.

And I hope this will not re-open the debate about the equivalence of degrees in various countries.
Note from asker:
thanks, I'll look into it some more anyway

neutral Ivana UK : an undergraduate degree does not confer the title of Doctor in En

PhD

The holder has been entitled to the PhD Degree.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Oliver Lawrence : unlikely, anyone with a degree is usually referred to as a 'dottore'

Thanks, but what PhD, then?
