not a typo It is not a typo because it appeared a few times in the text. It is actually as jeffrey suggested, I found it translated like that in other documents.

I dalen? I agree that above ground is a good translation of 'i dagen' , but I note that you contrast it with 'i fjell' - in the mountains.
Could 'i dagen' be a typo for 'i dalen' - in the valleys/at lower levels?
