Purpose: Installation in terminal boxes of electrical
apparatus under potentially explosive gas atmospheres

creepage distances and air gaps for material group I

CT-Description:
The current transformer consists of an iron core with
the applied secondary winding (terminals S1/S2), the
primary winding with the P1/P2 high-voltage terminal
pads and the insulator made from cycloaliphatic epoxy
resin, which will be fitted to the aluminium base by
means of mounting sleeves. Optionally, a Rogowski to
control a relay is available (terminals X1/X2).
The secondary terminals (S1/S2, X1/X2) as well as the
grounding terminal are torisionally protected bolted to
the insulating plate at the front side of the bottom plate.
The primary flat terminals provide two holes for M12
srews for connection with bus bar or cable.
The rating plate is fixed at the wide side of the CT and
can be sealed by using a cross hole screw.
Assembly:
Mounting: vertical or horizontal position
Fixing: 4 srews M10 on Al-base
tightening torque: 40 Nm
Make sure that all screws are rigidly mounted and
protected against vibration.
Grounding:
Grounding necessary with backside located grounding screw M8. Minimum cross section according to EN 60079-0:2004 must by strictly adhered.
The secondary winding has to be grounded in the
terminal box on one side by the provided connection
lug.
Connection:
The primary terminals of CT “P1 and P2” can be connected either with flat bars or cabels. The torque for M12 screws is 40 Nm. The connection of the flat copper bars (M16) has to be checked (80Nm) and eventually retightened (80Nm).
Attention:
• The permissible air gaps according to EN
60079-7:2003 must be strictly adhered by the
user of the equipment.
• For cable connection < 70 mm² a torsional
protection is necessary.
The secondary link will be done by using the secondary
slotted bolts S12x1,25 which are provided at the
secondary insulating base. The connection cable has to
be threaded into the slit and must be fasten by using
the pressing washers, the spring washers and the nuts.
The torsional protection of the slit clamps is made by a
hexagonal recess inside the insulating plate. The
torque is 8 Nm.
Maintenance:
The CT is maintenance-free, it is recommended to
clean the resin body with a dry, soft cloth from time to
time.
Attention:
• Not at any time clean the CT by a water jet !
• Do not operate secondary circuit open!
Storage:
The units should be stored under dry conditions. Before
assembly, the surface should be cleaned by using a dry
cloth.
Storage temperature range: –20°C to 60°C.
Warning:
Hazardous voltage is present during operartion of the
electrical equipment. Non-observance of the
instructions can result in property damage, severe
personal injury or even death.
Only qualified personnel should work on or around this
equipment after becoming thoroughly familiar with
warnings, safety notices and maintanance procedures
contained herein.
The successful and safe operation of this equipment
depends on proper handling, installation, operation and

Монтаж
Монтаж должен выполняться строго в соответствии со стандартом EN 600079-0 и EN 600079-7. Должны строго соблюдаться допустимый путь утечки и воздушные зазоры для материалов группы I (значение CTI должно быть больше 600).
Допустимый диапазон температуры окружающего воздуха: -20 °C ... 60 °C или -20 °C .... 75 °C (см. паспортную табличку).
Описание трансформатора тока
Трансформатор тока состоит из железного сердечника, на который намотана вторичная обмотка (клеммы S1/S2), первичной обмотки с высоковольтными контактными площадками P1/P2 и изолятора из циклоалифатической эпоксидной смолы, который прикреплен к алюминиевому основанию с помощью крепежного стакана. Дополнительно возможна установка колец Роговского для управления реле (клеммы X1/X2).
Клеммы вторичной обмотки (S1/S2, X1/X2), а также клемма заземления защищены от скручивания и прикручены к изолирующей пластине на передней стороне нижней пластины. Клеммные площадки первичной обмотки имеют два отверстия под винты M12 для подключения шинопровода или кабеля.
На широкой стороне трансформатора тока установлена паспортная табличка, которая может быть прикреплена с помощью винта с крестовым шлицем.
Монтаж
Установка: в вертикальном или горизонтальном положении.
Крепление: четырьмя винтами М10 на алюминиевом основании.
Момент затяжки: 40 Н∙м
При монтаже необходимо обеспечить надежную затяжку всех винтов и защиту от вибрации.
Заземление
Заземление выполняется с помощью заземляющего винта M8, расположенного с обратной стороны. Должна строго соблюдаться минимальная площадь поперечного сечения заземляющего проводника в соответствии со стандартом EN 60079-0:2004. Вторичная обмотка должна быть заземлена с одной стороны в распределительной коробке с помощью предусмотренной соединительной проушины.
Подключение
Клеммы первичной обмотки трансформатора тока P1 и P2 могут подключаться к плоским шинам или к кабелям. Момент затяжки винтов M12 — 40 Н∙м.
Необходимо проверять соединения плоских медных шин (винт М16) (80 Н∙м) и при необходимости затягивать окончательным моментом затяжки (80 Н∙м).
Предупреждение
• Конечный потребитель обязан строго соблюдать требования стандарта EN 60079-7:2003 к воздушным зазорам.
• Для подключения кабеля с площадью поперечного сечения менее 70 мм² необходима защита от скручивания.
Подключение вторичной обмотки выполняется болтами со шлицованной головкой S12x1,25, предусмотренными на изолирующем основании вторичной обмотки. Подключаемый кабель прикручивается к разъему и закрепляется с помощью плоской шайбы, пружинной шайбы и гайки. Техническое обслуживание

SHUNT-connected static var compensators (SVCs) are used extensively to control the AC voltage in transmission networks. Power electronic equipment, such as the thyristor controlled reactor (TCR) and the thyristor switched capacitor (TSC) have gained a significant market, primarily because of well-proven robustness to supply dynamic reactive power with fast response time and with low maintenance.
With the advent of high power gate turn-off thyristors and transistor devices (GTO, IGBT, …) a new generation of power electronic equipment, STATCOM, shows great promise for application in power systems [3,4].
This paper aims to explain the benefits of SVCs and STATCOMs for application in utility power systems.
Installation of a large number of SVCs and experience gained from recent STATCOM projects throughout the world
motivates us to clarify certain aspects of these devices.
VIII. HARMONICS
Both SVCs and STATCOMs generate harmonics. The TCR
of an SVC is a harmonic current source. Network harmonic
voltages distortion occurs as a result of the currents entering
the power system. The STATCOM is a harmonic voltage
source. Network voltage harmonic distortion occurs as a result
of voltage division between the STATCOM phase impedance
and the network impedance.
The major harmonic generation in SVCs is at low frequencies; above the 15th harmonic the contribution is normally small. At lower frequencies the generation is large and filters are needed. SVCs normally have at least 5th and 7th harmonic filters. The filter rating is in the range of 25–50% of the TCR size.
STATCOMs with PWM operation have their major harmonic generation at higher frequencies. The major contributions are at odd multiples of the PWM switch
frequency; at even multiples the levels are lower. The harmonic generation decays with increasing frequency.
STATCOMs might also generate harmonics in the same spectra as the conventional SVCs. The magnitudes depend on converter topology and the modulation and switching frequency used. In most cases STATCOMs as well as SVCs require harmonic filters.

8. Высшие гармоники
СТК и СТАТКОМ генерируют высшие гармоники. Управляемый тиристорами реактор СТК является источником высших гармоник тока. Результатом попадания гармоник в энергосистему является искажение напряжения сети. СТАТКОМ является источником высших гармоник напряжения. Искажение напряжения сети происходит в результате деления напряжения между полным сопротивлением фазы СТАТКОМ и полным сопротивлением сети.
Основная часть высших гармоник СТК генерируется на низких частотах, начиная с 15-ой гармоники гармоническая составляющая обычно мала. На более низких частотах генерируются значительные гармонические составляющие и необходима фильтрация. СТК обычно содержит фильтры 5-й и 7-й гармоники. Мощность фильтра находится в пределах 25-50 % от мощности управляемого тиристорами реактора.
СТАТКОМ с ШИМ-модуляцией генерирует основную часть высших гармоник на высоких частотах. Основные составляющие генерируются на частотах, равных частоте ШИМ-коммутации, умноженной на 3, 5, 7, 9 и т.д., а на частотах, равных частоте ШИМ-коммутации, умноженной на 2, 4, 8 и т.д., уровень высших гармоник ниже.
