I am a published writer and author of fiction and non-fiction. My specialty is literary translation from Danish to English.


My published translations of several classical Danish authors (among them Herman Bang, Holger Drachmann, Erik Pontoppidan and Georg Brandes)have been given wide distribution and acclaim.

I am also an experienced software localization expert. I have also done film subtitle work.

In addition to Danish, I also translate from French, Spanish, and Norwegian.

I have a per word price, but am able to negotiate on a per job basis.

My series of translations of Danish classical authors to English, published in book form by SAS (the airline) brought highest praise and good notices in the Scandinavian press.

I also lecture, and write articles on the subject of literary translation.
