PayPal doesn't show intermediate balances

Discovered today:
on PayPal you can see a list of all payments you did and received
and you can see your balance.
But what you cannot see is the intermediate balance.
E.g.
payment -10 euro
receipt +20 euro
balance 110 euro

You cannot see
payment -10 euro balance 90
receipt +20 euro balance 100

Problem:
it's difficult to find out whether you have paid twice for the same product!

Indeed you can't. What you can do is get a statement over a longer period and choose Balance affecting. Then you still cannot see the interim balances but you can see all your transactions for that period and check if there are any duplicates.

You get the statement under Activity and click on the double equal sign at the top right.

That's true.
I actually downloaded two of them, but because the intermediate balance isn't on them, they're quite useless.

Find it in the Activities Dec 4, 2020

Hi, you can see it in the activities. The menu in on the tab and you can see it up to two years ago.

You could contact Paypal of course but if you really need those interim balances in a hurry, the only thing to do is use a calculator and figure it out yourself.

Exactly, and where to start?
You have to start from the first amount you ever had, unless you could find somewhere the balance per year.

Anyway: yesterday evening there was no connection with PP possible. During the day it worked fine, but later in the day it became impossible - again.
