After the trouble I had, I closed my PayPal account.
They don't want me to use a landline, and I consider smartphones unsafe for a bank account.
Moreover, they lied about EU policies: the EU compels the use of 2F-authentification, but NOT the use of smartphones, or text messages. The EU doesn't care what type of 2FA is used, as long as it is 2FA.

I actually liked PP the time I had it, but since a year or so, it isn't user friendly anymore, and certianly not client centered. It is PP centered.
It means I will miss some functions on Proz.com, and that's a pity too.
I think I might consider myself lucky that I got my money back. Some people can't.

Thank you, but I prefer not to use that kind of stuff anymore.
By the way: I'm in the EU, not the US
In the EU the banking system works rather well, which makes PP superfluous.
