A big jar of fresh water.
No cat: she prefers to stay outside and, for obvious reasons, I do NOT allow her to sleep on the ventilation slots of the computer, even though she'd love to

Oh, what we would became without them? sitting on our laps, checking all our moves, our hand can rests on their warm body and this definitely relieves pain from too much writing.

Most of the time I try to have my camera at the ready to capture a bird, a seal or other wildlife.

My boyfriend built shelves for my dictionaries that hang on the wall and hover just above the computer. I can reach them without moving anything but my arms. It's an engineering masterpiece.
Also near at hand are my two dogs, lying together on their pillow and waiting for me to take my eyes away off the screen.

Coffee and/or water, the radio (when I don't have to concentrate much or make phonecalls), my cell phone, pen and notes, agenda, dictionaries when applicable, and grapes if I crave a snack
