Poll: What do you detest most about freelancing?

Unjust rates Feb 4, 2018

Agencies do not bother to pay more than 0.025 per word for my language combination. They even look for those who accept 0.015.
I dont understand why Arabic in particular receives such low rates!

Other, because in most cases listed as options, I'll simply refuse the job.
But there is one thing that pisses me off. That's when a regular client sends me a poorly scanned pdf, images or mobile pictures of documents to translate. In most cases, I refuse them as well, but for regular clients, I must do them. And it takes three times as long, usually for a low pay.
